As a wedding photographer, I've had the pleasure of capturing countless beautiful moments of love between couples over the years. But there's something truly magical about photographing a marriage proposal. Recently, I had the honor of shooting Naveen's proposal to his girlfriend Victoria, and it was an experience that I'll never forget.
Victoria and Naveen are a lovely couple from California who were visiting Quebec City for the first time. When Naveen contacted me a few weeks before their trip, I knew I had to make their proposal shoot an unforgettable experience. That's why I suggested several beautiful locations around Quebec City for the proposal, but ultimately, Naveen chose the iconic Château Frontenac hotel as the backdrop for his romantic gesture.
On the day of the shoot, I did my best to make Victoria and Naveen feel at ease in front of the camera. Despite their nerves, they were wonderful to work with, and we captured some truly beautiful shots. As a photographer, I always aim to bring out the best in my clients, and this occasion was no exception.
The proposal itself was a magical moment filled with love, laughter, and tears of joy. Naveen got down on one knee and asked Victoria to be his wife, and she said yes! It was an incredible moment to witness and capture.
After the proposal, we spent an hour exploring Quebec City and taking photos at some of its most picturesque locations. As we walked around, I shared my knowledge of the city with them and suggested some hidden gems that they might have missed otherwise.
