Quebec City
When the pandemic hit the world, almost every location went on full lock down. Weddings were no exception. Many couples had to postpone their weddings. Eugenie and Harold were supposed to have their wedding in 2020. They were planning a big wedding in Quebec City. But things didn't go as planned because of ongoing restrictions by the government. Who would have guessed about a pandemic hitting the world this hard, right?
My couple decided to have an intimate micro wedding as soon as the government allowed gatherings. Mid-2021, the Canadian government started to let small gatherings happen, but most of the wedding venues were still closed at that time. Luckily, Harold's parents' private real estate was offering a big land. When I say "big", I mean like a football field big! When I arrived to the location, I was impressed by the size of this beautiful backyard that my couple was going to use for their micro wedding.
The couple invited only very close friends and family members for their wedding. The ceremony location was under a few huge trees in the middle of the land. The florist, Côté Fleur Côté Couleur, designed the spot with a minimalist and chic approach. After the ceremony, the guests and the couple had a lovely cocktail hour on a bridge that was also a part of the backyard. This backyard was offering so much for this beautiful micro wedding. Beautiful bride Eugenie's two piece wedding dress from BHLDN was ethereal. At the end of the cocktail, my couple and their guests had a lovely dinner.
The wedding was small but it never felt like a micro wedding at all. I hope this wedding can give some inspiration to those who are planning a micro wedding.
